Class Action is a Big Hollywood Movie

Clara Bingham and Laura Leedy Gansler’s book Class Action hit the trifecta: optioned, put into development, and made into a Silkwood meets Erin Brokovich-esque movie starring Charlize Theron, Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson. The studio called the movie North Country, and changed the narrative here and there, but this is still the story of the first class-action sex discrimination law suit ever filed in the United States. Word on the movie is that it’s great; Booknoise is going to see it next week and will report back. But we can tell you that the book is amazing! Check it out.
